How to watch the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix for free

The Formula 1 season continues this Sunday at the Japanese Grand Prix as reigning champion Max Verstappen looks to defend his victory on Suzuka Circuit.

While Verstappen and Oracle Red Bull Racing hold bragging rights in Japan, McLaren's duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have scored victories in each of the first two races to kick off the season.

Norris holds a slim points lead over rival Verstappen by eight points while Mercedes driver George Russell is third in the standings with two straight third-place finishes.

Still adjusting to a new team, seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton looks to rebound from a disastrous race at the Chinese Grand Prix, which saw the Scuderia Ferrari driver get disqualified alongside his teammate, Charles Leclerc.

Perhaps the storyline of the weekend is how hometown driver Yuki Tsunoda will fair in his Red Bull Racing debut. Tsunoda was tapped to replace Liam Lawson as Verstappen's teammate after two lackluster results to begin his career. Lawson was sent back to Racing Bulls, Red Bull Racing's satellite team.
