How much snow has fallen near you? Find winter storm snowfall totals across the US

A massive winter storm pummeled a large portion of the country over the weekend, burying many cities in the Midwest under several inches of snow before moving to the Mid-Atlantic region Monday, causing widespread school closings and dangerous travel conditions.

The NWS said the storm would move from the Ohio Valley to the Mid-Atlantic Monday, with "severe travel delays" and "major impacts" expected for portions of West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Delaware.

"An additional 6-12 inches of snow is expected across the Mid-Atlantic states, including the Washington D.C. metro area," the weather service said Monday, adding that an additional 2-4 inches is likely across portions of the Ohio Valley.

According to snowfall reports from the National Weather Service, states as far west as Colorado and Wyoming and as far east as Delaware have seen snow in the last 24 hours.
